We As One
Survivor led movement

Challenge
Breaking The Silence
Survivors of sexual abuse and trauma tend to carry the same questions on their own. Will anyone believe me. Is it too late to speak up. Am I broken. Where do I even begin. We As One was founded to answer them, and the brand had to be able to hold them.
That set the tone for everything. Anything clinical would keep people at arm’s length. Anything that read as a campaign would shout over the people it is for. It needed to sound like a person, not an institution.

Solution
Sisterhood, Not Signage
The identity sits at human scale — a warm wordmark, and a voice that says the plain thing first: You’re Not Alone. You Matter. Photography puts real people at the centre rather than stock images of distress, so the movement looks like the community it actually is.
The site is arranged around what somebody needs when they arrive rather than around the organisation: somewhere to get support, resources to read at their own pace, and stories from other survivors. Lil’ Whispers gives the quieter side of the movement its own space — change that starts when real people choose not to stay silent.

Result
Somewhere To Start
We As One now has a home that survivors, families and allies can be pointed to. The Survivors Toolkit gives someone a first step they can take on their own, the community strand gives them somewhere to go next, and the storytelling platform lets the movement grow through the people it has already reached.
